غلامی
آدم از بی بصری بندگی آدم کردگوهری داشت ولی نذر قباد و جم کرد
Man out of his shortsightedness consents to be a slave. He had something in him, but gave it all away to kings.
آدمی نے اندھے پن سے آدمی کی غلامی کی، ایک موتی رکھتا تھا مگر وہ بھی بادشاہوں کی نذر کر دیا ۔
یعنی از خوی غلامی ز سگان خوار تر استمن ندیدم که سگی پیش سگی سر خم کرد
Because of this servility he is worse than a dog. No dog will ever call adoringly another dog his lord.
یعنی غلامی کی لت سے کتوں سے بھی بڑھ کر خوار ہے میں نے نہیں دیکھا کہ کسی کتے نے کسی کتے کے آگے سر جھکایا ہو ۔
