الملک ﷲ
طارق چو بر کناررهٔ اندلس سفینه سوختگفتند کار تو به نگاه خرد خطاست
When Tariq burned his boats on Andalusia’s coast, his men observed: ‘It was an unwise thing to do.
طارق نے جب اندلس کے کنارے پر اپنی کشتی جلائی تو اس کے ساتھیوں نے کہا عقل کی نگاہ میں تیرا یہ کام غلط ہے ۔
دوریم از سواد وطن باز چون رسیمترک سبب ز روی شریعت کجا رواست
We are so far from home; how shall we now return? Foregoing means is wrong in the Divine Law’s view.’
ہم وطن سے دور ہیں واپس کیسے پہنچیں گے، ذریعے کو چھوڑ دینا شریعت کی رو سے کہاں جائز ہے ۔
خندید و دست خویش بشمشیر برد و گفتهر ملک ملک ماست که ملک خدای ماست
He laughed and, putting his hand on his sword, declared: ‘All lands are God’s and they are all our homeland too.’
وہ ہنسا اور اپنا ہاتھ تلوار کے قبضے پر رکھا اور بولا ہر ملک ہمارا ملک ہے (ساری دنیا ہمارا وطن ہے) کیونکہ ہمارے خدا کا ملک ہے ۔
