بہر دل عشق رنگ تازہ بر کردگہی با سنگ گہ با شیشہ سر کرد
Love appears in each heart with hues anew —
At times it pairs with stone, at times with glass too.
ہر دل میں عشق ننے رنگ سے ظاہر ہوتا ہے —
کبھی یہ پتھر سے موافقت کرتا ہے اور کبھی شیشے سے۔
ترا از خود ربود و چشم تر دادمرا با خویشتن نزدیک تر کرد
It made you forget yourself, taught you to cry —
And drew me closer to my inner sky.
تجھے اس نے اپنا آپ بھلا دیا اور رونا سکھایا —
اور مجھے اس نے اپنے آپ سے نزدیک تر کر دیا۔
