ز جان بیقرار آتش گشادمدلی در سینۂ مشرق نھادم
From my restless soul, I’ve unleashed a blaze —
I’ve placed a new heart in the East’s embrace.
میں نے اپنی جانِ بے قرار سے آگ کا منہ کھول دیا ہے —
میں نے مشرق کے سینے میں نیا دل رکھ دیا ہے۔
گل او شعلہ زار از نالۂ منچو برق اندر نہاد او فتادم
The soil of the East, aflame with my lament's spark —
Upon its conscience, I’ve struck like a lightning arc.
سرزمینِ مشرق کی خاک، میرے نالے سے شعلہ زار بن گئی ہے —
میں اس کے ضمیر پر بجلی کی مانند گرا ہوں۔
