دل من بی قرار آرزوئیدرون سینۂ من ہای و ہوئی
My heart, restless with longing's fervent plea —
Within my chest, a tumult wild and free.
میرا دل آرزو سے بے قرار ہے —
میرے سینے میں ہا و ہو (کا ہنگامہ) بپا ہے۔
سخن ای ہمنشین از من چہ خواہیکہ من با خویش دارم گفتگوئی
O friend, what words from me do you require? —
For with myself, I hold a dialogue entire.
اے ہمنشین تو مجھ سے ہمکلامی کی توقع نہ رکھ —
میں تو ہر وقت اپنے آپ سے گفتگو میں مشغول ہوں۔
