چو در جنت خرامیدم پس از مرگبہ چشمم این زمین و آسمان بود
When I was dead, and walked in Paradise, this heaven I could clearly see;
جب میں فوت ہونے کے بعد جنت میں ٹہل رہا تھا —
تو مجھے اس زمین و آسمان کا کا خیال آیا۔
شکی با جان حیرانم در آویختجہان بود آن کہ تصویر جہان بود
One doubt yet lingered in my baffled soul – was it the world, that world of imagery?
میری حیرت زدہ جان ایک شک میں مبتلا ہو گئی —
کہ وہ جہان تھا یا جہان کی تصویر تھی۔
