ز خوب و زشت تو ناآشنایمعیارش کردہ ئی سود و زیان را
I am indifferent to your notions of right and wrong —
You've measured life by gain and loss for too long.
میں تیرے برے بھلے سے انجان ہوں (متفق نہیں ہوں ) تو نے فائدے اور نقصان کو کسوٹی (معیار) بنا رکھا ہے ۔
درین محفل ز من تنھا تری نیستبہ چشم دیگری بینم جھان را
In this worldly gathering, none is lonelier than I —
For I see this world through a different eye.
اس محفل جہان میں مجھ سے زیادہ اکیلا کوئی نہیں ہے ۔ میں دنیا کو اور نظر سے دیکھتا ہوں (وہ نگاہ فطرت اور حقیقت کو دیکھنے والی ہے) ۔
