ترا از خویشتن بیگانہ سازدمن آن آبی طربناکی ندارم
That which makes you forget yourself —
I do not possess that joyous wine.
(جو) تجھے خود سے بیگانہ بنا دے میں وہ سرور پیدا کرنے والی شراب نہیں رکھتا ۔
بہ بازارم مجو دیگر متاعیچو گل جز سینۂ چاکی ندارم
Seek no other goods in my market —
For like a flower, I hold nothing but a wounded heart.
میرے بازار میں (کوئی) اور سامان مت ڈھونڈ میں پھول کی طرح پھٹے ہوئے سینے کے علاوہ اور کچھ نہیں رکھتا ۔ نوٹ: یہاں خودفراموشی کے بجائے خود شناسی کا پیغام دیا گیا ہے ۔
