شہید ناز او بزم وجود است
English title: The world is under His proud power’s sway
شہید ناز او بزم وجود استنیاز اندر نہاد ہست و بود است
All being is a martyr to His whim, all life is graven with the need of Him:
ساری کائنات اسی (اللہ تعالیٰ) کی کبریائی پر نثار ہے ۔ بندگی تمام موجودات کی سرشت میں ہے ۔ دستور قدیم کے مطابق اقبال نے اس میں حمد باری تعالیٰ بیان کی ہے ۔
نمی بینی کہ از مہر فلک تاببہ سیمای سحر داغ سجود است
Seest thou not the Sun that flames the Sky has left the scar of Worship on Dawn’s rim?
(کیا) تو نہیں دیکھتا کہ آسمان کو چمکانے والا سورج صبح کے ماتھے پر سجدے کا نشان ہے ۔ اس سے یہ مراد ہے کہ صبح کی روشنی سورج کی مرہون منت ہے ۔ اگر سورج نہ ہوتا تو صبح کی روشنی بھی نہ ہوتی اور اگر خدا نہ ہوتا تو آفتاب بھی نہ ہوتا ۔ یعنی ساری کائنات اپنے وجود اور بقا میں خدا کی محتاج ہے ۔ اس میں وحدۃ الوجود کا مضمون پنہاں ہے ۔
