ہم سمجھتے تھے کہ لائے گي فراغت تعليمکيا خبر تھي کہ چلا آئے گا الحاد بھي ساتھ
We had thought education would bring economic freedom We did not know that atheism would also come with it
گھر ميں پرويز کے شيريں تو ہوئي جلوہ نمالے کے آئي ہے مگر تيشہء فرہاد بھي ساتھ
Though Shirin did honor Parviz with her presence But she brought the ax of Farhad also with her
''تخم ديگر بکف آريم و بکاريم ز نوکانچہ کشتيم ز خجلت نتواں کرد درو
Let us take the seed afresh in our hand and use it anew We are ashamed to reap what would come out from whatever we sowed
ہم ایک اور بیج حاصل کر کے اسے نئے سرے سے بوئیں کیونکہ ہم نے جو کچھ بویا تھا شرمندگی کے مارے اسے کاٹ نہیں سکتے ۔
