Every atom pants for glory: greed of self-fruition earth’s whole creed!
بے ذوق نمود زندگي ، موتتعمير خودي ميں ہے خدائي
Life that thirsts for no flowering—death: | Self‐creation—a godlike deed;
رائي زور خودي سے پربتپربت ضعف خودي سے رائي
Through self the mustard‐seed becomes | A hill: without, the hill a seed.
تارے آوارہ و کم آميزتقدير وجود ہے جدائي
The stars wander and do not meet, | To all things severance is decreed;
يہ پچھلے پہر کا زرد رو چاندبے راز و نياز آشنائي
Pale is the moon of night’s last hour | No whispered things of friendship speed.
تيري قنديل ہے ترا دلتو آپ ہے اپني روشنائي
Own self is all the light you need;
اک تو ہے کہ حق ہے اس جہاں ميںباقي ہے نمود سيميائي
You are this world’s sole truth, all else, | Illusion such as sorceries breed.
ہيں عقدہ کشا يہ خار صحراکم کر گلہ برہنہ پائي
These desert thorns prick many a doubt: | Do not complain if bare feet bleed.
