English title: Get me Seenay’s truth, and love of his name,
عطا کن شور رومے ، سوز خسروعطا کن صدق و اخلاص سنائے
Bestow on me Rumi’s tumult and Khusraw’s burning, sincerity and truthfulness of Sana‘i:
مجھے مولانا رومی کا جنون اور امیر خسرو کا سوز عشق عطا کر ۔ مجھے حکیم سنائی کا صدق اور اخلاص عطا کر ۔
چنان با بندگی در ساختم مننگیرم گر مرا بخشے خدائی
I’m so accustomed to the state of servitude that I would refuse, if I’m offered lordship.
میں نے اس طرح تیری بندگی سے تعلق پیدا کیا ہے کہ اگر تو مجھے خدائی عطا کرے تو میں ہرگز قبول نہ کروں گا ۔ متاع بے بہا ہے درد و سوزِ آرزومندی مقام بندگی دیکر نہ لوں شانِ خداوندی
